Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrive at Addis Ababa and transfer to the hotel then drive in Addis Ababa for an afternoon city tour. On a panoramic tour of Addis Ababa, visit the national museum, different statues and monuments in town as part of the city tour. Overnight at your Hotel
Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar
This morning, depart Addis and travel to Bahir Dar check-in at the hotel later drive to Blue Nile River falls locally known as “Tisisat”. It’s a perfect place to experience Gemütlichkeit, a German word for a situation that induces a good mood. After lunch a boat trip on Lake Tana will take you on a visit to ancient monasteries. Day 3: Bahir Dar – Gondar
This morning travel from Bahir Dar to historic city of Gondar (The Camelot of Africa) to enjoy a panoramic tour of Gonder. Visit the famous eleven palaces in one compound from 17th century. Lunch and the afternoon are at leisure to explore Berhaneselassie church where you admire the glittering collection of murals art. Overnight at a hotel
Day 4: Gonder – Lalibela
Drive to Lalibela and join a local guide for a tour of the 13th century jewel eleven rock-hewn churches excavated from granite bed rock of Roha Mountain. It is still an active place of worship and the most famous landmark in the city protected by UNESCO as eight wonder of the world. Stop at a local restaurant where you enjoy lunch with its esteemed chef, who shares insights into seasonal dishes and his life as a restaurateur. Day 5: Lalibela – Axum
Drive to Axum for a tour of its Old Town, once a jewel and capital city of the Ethiopia that survived to date. Enjoy a visit to the famous stale erected for centuries. After lunch, enjoy a visit to different archaeological sites, the bath and the palace of Queen Sheba; tomb of Kings, Churches which include St Mary of Tsion where many believed to find the Ark of Covenant. Day 6: Axum – Addis Ababa
This morning after breakfast, travel to the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. After lunch, privately explore the beautiful views of Addis Ababa, the city’s most famous restaurants and next visit the biggest Open-air market in Africa to view a vast array of food and crafts on sale. Day 7: Addis Ababa – Diredawa
Enjoy morning breakfast and depart to Diredawa. Later drive to Harar to tour the city and enjoy a Scenic visit to fourth Muslim sacred place in the world hosting pilgrims after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, then take in great views of the 16th century wall built by Adere people to protect themselves from aggression of externals.
Day 8: Harar
This morning, embark on a tour of Babile to visit the valley of marvels, Harar Mosques, churches, tombs, 19th century French poet Arthur Rembound house and Cultural houses of Adere people. Proceed in the evening to visit Hyena man Performance. Overnight at a hotel
Day 9: Harar – Addis Ababa
After breakfast drive back to Addis Ababa for a fitting conclusion to your visit to the historic Ethiopian capital to set the tone for a celebratory farewell dinner at a nearby local restaurant. Overnight in Addis Ababa
Day 10 – Departure
Transfer to the airport to board your flight home.
