Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Kibale forest National Park
Pick up from your hotel in Kampala after your breakfast by our company tour guide who will brief you about your safari. Make your journey through Mityana to Mubende and later to Fort Portal in the shadow of the majestic Rwenzori mountains with an en route lunch. Depending on time, you may take a mini tour around one of Uganda’s cleanest and well organized towns well known for its welcoming and hospitable people; the Batooro. You may as well visit the king’s palace and learn about the Tooro culture. Later proceed to Kibale Forest NP in preparation for the chimp trekking experience the following day. Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Break the day with a cup of tea and assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about tracking these primates.Proceed thence into this primates capital in search for the man’s closest relatives; the chimpanzee as well as some of the other primates in this forest. You may also be graced by the sights of other mammals like forest elephants and buffalos, giant forest hog, bush pig and bush bucks among others. Return after tracking to your lodge for lunch and later transfer in the afternoon to Queen Elizabeth NP for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early morning cup of coffee, you will embark on a rewarding game drive along the kasenyi trail to explore the park’s plethora of wildlife. During the game drive, expect to see different wildlife including; gazelles, water bucks, reedbucks, Bushbucks, Elephants, buffalos, topis as well as carnivores like Jackal, hyena, lion, leopard among others. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, take a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel that connects lakes George and Edward. You will have a fantastic view of crocodiles basking in the water, hippos as well as a variety of birds like kingfishers, goliath heron, African fish eagle, African jacana, piacpiac, rock pranticole and many others along the banks of this channel. Wildlife you may see include; buffalo, elephants, water buck, kob, reedbuck and bush buck among others as they storm the banks of the channel to drink and cool their bodies during hot afternoons. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge (Day 2)
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth NP – Bwindi national park
After breakfast, Check out from the lodge and begin your journey southwards to Bwindi NP. En route game drives in Ishasha sector may avail you the tree climbing lions and several herds of antelopes and buffalos grazing in the plains. Proceed with an en route lunch to Bwindi NP in the evening for dinner and Overnight

Day 5: Gorilla tracking and an optional community walk.
After an early breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest with your packed lunch and drinking water as no one is sure how long it will take though is always between 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on where these apes will have spent the previous night and their movement as they look for food. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour as you observe and learn and take photographs, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for relaxation. In the evening, depending on time and energy, you may go for an optional community walk in the nearby community to experience their way of life . Dinner and overnight at your safari Accommodation (day 4)
Day 6: Bwindi – Kampala
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala. A stop over at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara will allow you time for lunch and an opportunity to explore the Ankole culture before proceeding for a mini stop at the Equator for experiments and photography. Proceed after to Kampala, reaching in the evening for a drop off at the airport to catch your flight back home.
