Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Kampala for Kibale Forest
Uganda primates safari will begin with an early breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or pick up from the airport if it is an early arrival. Our company tour guide will pick you accordingly and drive you to Kibale National Park with en route lunch in Mubende or Fort Portal. This park is home to about 13 primate species, the highest of any single park in Africa including black and white colobus, red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, Chimpanzees among others and has been recognized as the primate capital of the world. Dinner & overnight

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary tour
Early breakfast at hotel and assemble to the Kibale forest park head quarters at Kanyanchu for a short briefing and thereafter, enter the forest to track the man’s closest cousins; the chimpanzees. After this delightful experience, return to the Lodge for relaxation, in the afternoon, set out for a walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary with an opportunity to see a diversity of bird life, flora and fauna. Overnight and Dinner at your accommodation (day 1)
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth – Afternoon Launch Cruise
Have breakfast at leisure, later depart for Queen Elizabeth national Park, habitat to a diversity of wildlife species inclusive of elephants, buffaloes, lion, leopards, giant forest hog, and hippos, as well as antelopes like bush bucks, water bucks, Bohor reedbucks, duikers, kobs, gazelles among others. Arrive in time for lunch and in the afternoon, take 2 hours Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George, have the chance to see a high concentration of Hippos and Crocodiles in water while elephants, water bucks and buffaloes grazing on the banks of the channel as well as an array of bird species including; the kingfishers, Egyptian fish eagle, saddle billed stork, among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Morning Game Drive –Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive; expecting sights of wildlife like leopard, Uganda kob, warthog, giant forest hog, elephants, hippos from grazing going back to the water, going through the crater lakes visiting the salt lake later have lunch at the lodge, and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the area is known for its tree climbing lions. you will have lunch there and later proceed to arrive in Bwindi NP in the evening.Bwindi is home to half of the world’s remaining population of the Mountain Gorillas and is one of Africa’s last remaining ancient rain forests. Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early breakfast, report to the ranger station for briefing and enter the gorilla sanctuary with the ranger guides for the most interesting and memorable activity- Gorilla Tracking. The tracking activity takes between half an hour to about 8 hours thus, a steady pair of walking shoes ankle high or gum boots is recommended as well as a reasonable degree of fitness. Sit in the dense rain forest for an hour looking at these delightful mountain gorillas grumble at each other as you take memorable photos. Return to the Lodge and if you have the afternoon free and still feeling fit, take a guided community walk to the Bakiga / Batwa community as you learn much about their history and culture. Dinner and Overnight stay in accommodation of previous night (Day 5)
Day 6: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
Early breakfast in preparation for the journey to Lake Mburo National park via Kabale – Mbarara route. The park is home to zebras, impalas, water bucks and other animals of the antelope family. A leopard is occasionally spotted outside the last two cottages on a moonlit night while a lion has been recently sighted. With an en route lunch, proceed to the park. Upon arrival, you will have an afternoon boat on the lake to explore the parks wildlife quenching their thirst as well as the lake’s common residents like crocodiles and hippos; note this small park is known for it’s rare animals and bird species which include Zebras, commonly known as African equids (horse family), their black and white stripes make them distinctive and are generally social animals that live in small harems to large herds and the Impala. Dinner and overnight

Day 7: Lake Mburo NP – Kampala.
Early breakfast, in preparation for the morning Game drive to explore the parks wildlife in depth and after which you will start on the journey back to Kampala. Make a Stopover at the equator in Masaka for your souvenir shopping, photo shooting and possibly for tea/ coffee break or lunch and have an informative talk before proceeding to Kampala where you will transfer to the Airport for the Flight depending on schedule.
